I do appreciate there being markers for your objectives, and I hope that remains in the full game. It was open world with combat (and thankfully combat difficulty that you can control). I thought the combat was fun, and the demo felt like a simple version of Elden Ring to me. But it’s a demo, why would there be story? They’re keeping the story for the actual game, and instead are enticing you to purchase with the world and combat. I understand that maybe an open world with no story is frustrating, personally I am not a big open world person.
